Our story
Panjshir Aid was founded to support Afghan refugees and asylum seekers as they rebuild their lives in the UK with dignity and confidence. What began as a small, volunteer-led effort within the community has grown into a trusted charity providing practical support and guidance.
We help individuals and families navigate housing, legal processes, healthcare, education, and community integration. With lived experience at the heart of our work, we offer culturally sensitive support tailored to those we serve.
Today, Panjshir Aid is more than a support service — it is a community hub dedicated to empowerment, opportunity, and long-term independence.
Volunteer with us
Volunteers are at the heart of Panjshir Aid. Our work would not be possible without dedicated individuals who give their time, skills, and compassion to support Afghan refugees and asylum seekers.
Whether you can help with mentoring, language support, administration, event support, or community activities, your contribution makes a real difference. Volunteering with us is an opportunity to empower families, build meaningful connections, and be part of a supportive and purpose-driven community.
